Ibogaine Graduates Plan Reunion
"The Person who reaches the
sacred, the inexpressible, creates for themselves an island which no flood
can submerge, is one bound upstream."
--Buddha
Whatever spiritual
or religious background you have, these words hold relevant meaning. For some
who have participated in the Ibogaine Experience, it has now been well over
a year - for others a few months or weeks. But the length of time doesn't
matter. What matters is that each of us has participated in a unique program
with the goal of changing some - or all - aspects of our lives.
If we were
completely happy and our lives headed in the direction we wanted, we would
never have sought out this agent of change or become involved in the Healing
Transitions treatment program. Often it is necessary to figuratively touch
the stone again and refresh these experiences. This allows us to gain strength,
perspective and focus while reminding us that we are a part of something special.
With this in mind, an Ibogaine reunion is currently being planned on St. Kitts.
By returning to the site of our healing experience, it gives people a chance
to meet with individuals from different treatment rounds and provide a forum
for participants who all share a bond of having undergone an unprecedented
program. Information can be exchanged on different approaches, aftercare and
successful recovery stories.
What is needed from each of you is not a commitment,
but a tentative response of interest. Your timely response would be sincerely
appreciated and should be directed to Dr. Deborah Mash. I look forward to
meeting you.
